This weekend, I’m treating you to what I hope will be a semi-regular feature here in Max Wealth: An unprofessionally filmed video update from my study, starring me in one of the loud Hawaiian shirts my wife hates.
I warned you yesterday: I plan on having fun with this.
A big part of the fun, of course, is keeping you up to date on how our “hidden gem” stocks are performing. That starts with Colony Capital (CLNY), our recommendation earlier this week.

After Wednesday’s launch, many of you have asked me why I’m doing this, why I started Max Wealth.
I could give you a lot of reasons – most of which are true…
I could say it’s because I enjoy writing about and researching markets. I enjoy reading academic studies, research papers, and articles on investing and markets. I enjoy running tests and simulations to discover what works. I enjoy talking with like-minded folks about anomalies, patterns, and market puzzles for hours on end.
And I realize I’m probably supposed to say something about how I started Max Wealth to help the little guy or something along those lines.
And sure, that’s true. What Wall Street sells infuriates me. And I do believe that showing folks how to invest like the smart, patient money and adopt the billionaire’s mindset to investing will make you a lot of money.
But there’s one more reason folks in my position usually keep to themselves.
Here in Max Wealth, I want to be honest with you.
So let me tell you a story…
